Rebecca Romijn was a model prior to becoming an actor. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as "Mystique," the lead character of the first segment of X-Men. Romijn was a part of the Marvel filmcalled "The Punisher", in where she was Joan. Romijn began her modeling career as a model professional and was employed by companies such as Christian Dior Sports Illustrated Victoria's Secret. She spent more than a decade as a model for major fashion houses. Later, she quit the modeling industry to concentrate on acting. Romijn was more successful on television than she previously was in Hollywood. She portrayed 'Alexis Mead"' in the comedy drama 'Ugly Betty' and later was the character 'Jessie Nichols' in 'NTSF:SD: SUV'. The other roles she played are "King and Maxwell" as well as The Librarians'. She hosted the body painting series Skin Wars and appeared as vocalist on various productions.
